In looks like in this laptop the fan is mounted on the bottom of the motherboard. I have been searching like crazy. Hope this is useful.

They vako not work under the retail Windows Vista Ultimate environment. I cannot get the fan to run but I am not sure if there is a heat sensor which may be the problem instead of the fan itself.

Thanks for the clear directions. In order to remove the wireless card, disconnect two antenna cable from the card, remove two screws securing the card and pull the card from the slot on the motherboard. Without the battery connected even on mains power it will not start.
