I'm only a first year med student, so I don't know yet if his methods for reading EKG's actually work, but they seem logical. You rock, Doctor Dubin! It helped me a looooooot.

This book has been composed by Dale Dubin, M. Lists with This Book. It adopts a simplistic fill-in-the-blank style [2] and is suited for medical students and junior residents. As just a matter of personal preference, I did not like the author's "voice" throughout the text.

But first I must summon the enthusiasm to try a 5th time. It takes some getting used to it's interactive and the author's voice is a little silly at times, but that keeps it casual.

In this book, extraordinary exertion has been made to conveying high return and as often as possible tried ideas in ways which make learning EKG translation simple and fun.

It reads less like a textbook and more like a conversation with the author. Although he will break everything down quickly in the start, I think you have to have a solid knowledge of the autonomic nervous system and some other concepts to really utilize this book to its full potential- but you could definitely improve your knowledge regardless but will miss some major eggs.

Dubin breaks it down and spoon feeds the information to you in a way that makes it easy for intedpretation first year medical student to understand this information at its fundamental level to then apply it to more complex disease states.
